 KODA STORY

NORTON ROSE FULBRIGHT

 PROJECT

NORTON ROSE FULBRIGHT

Located in the Sydney CBD is the new headquarters for prestigious law firm Norton Rose Fulbright. This 8-level, 10,000sqm workplace fit-out was designed by Carr and intended to be an immersive sensory experience that’s memorable for both staff and clients.

After entering through the lobby, patrons look down upon a circular void occupied by our Vibia North floor lamps. The floor lamps not only fill this void but create serene pools of light in the seating area that adjoins the cafe. This floor is known as The Assembly, and it’s designed to break down the barriers between a workspace and a social space. The smell of coffee drifts upwards to the floors above, creating an energised atmosphere.

On a higher level, a dynamic work floor is illuminated by more North lamps – a pendant and a wall model. These lamps echo the warm and busy atmosphere of the Assembly. They also complement the high ceilings and partial open-plan design of the space.

Our Duo skylights were also used to illuminate a conference table, their warm oak interiors accentuating the wood grain of the desk below. Bright, cool light stimulates productivity and the sharing of ideas. This space combines an array of tactile elements, which come to life beneath the Duos.
